Unique Questions Asked To Me

There are so many questions being asked everyday everywhere in the world.

But I have noticed that there are some questions so unique that I may own them as only being asked to me.

1) How Come Your Jeans are So Crumpled ?

2) What is that bar on the wall behind the TV ?

3) Have you read "How To Win Friends And Influence People"

4) Why do you want to get Married?

My Innovative Phone

Reading about various blogs, articles suggesting features and wants from the next generation of iPhone prompts me to write about things I desire.

What I want from my Phone is

1) A Dual LCD Screen, one on the front, One on Back. One with Touch-screen and One Without and maybe with a Keyboard.

2) Lightweight and supporting at least 3.2 MP Camera.

3) Supporting at least 3G speeds with ability to connect to wireless networks in hotspots.

4) Video shooting with Sound Recording capability.

5) GPS and at least 20 GB of Memory.

6) Bluetooth support and ability to play all kinds of streaming video, audio.

7) Ability to allow VOIP calls similar to Nokia N880.

I want to take credit for the Dual LCD Screen feature and my bet is Apple will surely deliver that one... What Say ?

Experience of a Orkut Virus :-)

During the days of Mighty DOS, In My College Lab, I wrote a small pseudo-virus program disguised as a attractive looking exe file. You can guess the name.

It used to call the del *.* command and echo a "Y" which in turn used to remove all the files of the current directory.

No damage happened because of that coz that was the first file to get deleted if anybody ever ran it. Tee Hee...

Last week I got a scrap on ORKUT by a friend SS who had written a strange message and asked me to paste a javascript in the browser. When I did that.. I just a Image retrieving taking place, but after some seconds.. I realized something was fishy.

I immediately tried to contact my friend and found that he had got the same scrap from me with the same message. OMG !!!

That was totally unexpected.

It seemed the Javascript I ran actually managed to use my Google Login Token and accessed my friends list and scrapped the message in each and every one of them.

I had to painfully remove the scrap message from my friends scrap page. Whew!!!

Also guess what the script made me join 15 different Communities which I had never visited.

I hope my friends are careful about this and not get enticed by any sweet looking message.

Adios

Carpooling

For the last couple of months I have been car-pooling 15 miles to the office with my two colleagues KT and Sj.

Almost everyday we end up being 5-15 mins late than the office reporting time. I make it just in nick of time for the early morning scrum.

Initially I had a hard time adjusting to being late. I hate waiting myself and making others wait, but I have noticed that its really enjoyable ride to and fro.

We spend valuable time, discussing various ideas and that really stimulates the thinking process.

Everyday I learn at least a couple of new things and new information which I absorb.

Cheerio to the Gas Prices... At least we get to save some GAS in exchange for precious moments of fun.

People Don't Like Change

While driving back from office, my colleague Sj and I had a discussion why Barrack Obama is not likely to be the next president.

Our reasoning was based on the fact that when it matters most, the critical and crucial decisions are not always based on proper reasoning but on the principal of known devil is better than unknown friend.

Obama wants to bring in change. He might have the best ways to change USA and the world for the good of each and everyone, but is USA willing to give in to his request? Is it ready? Only time will tell.

But common sense and intuition suggests that Nobody Likes Change. People don't like change.

Therefore Obama is in a Trap. In case he gets a nomination from the Democratic party, The republicans are likely to exploit his change ideas for Obama's downfall.

Lets see what happens....

Vijay Mallya - Hindsight In Gambling.

Hindsight is an Exact Science.

'Biggest mistake was to abstain from selection' - Vijay Mallya screams the Headlines.

Everyone is bound to miscalculate but simply shrugging and victimizing innocent Manager does not resolve a problem.

I wonder what makes Mallya think that the judgement of Rahul Dravid and Charu Sharma was wrong.

Anyways i am not losing Rs 4 Crores.. Am I?

The Lesson here in for me is Don't Cry Over Spilt Milk.

Strategize for the Future. Have a Concrete Role for each and every member.

From My Limited Knowledge the guess is Nobody has a Concrete Role in the Royal Challengers Team and It Shows.

I would have started by defining Role of Vijay Mallya and strict adherence to Not Crying In Media for a Bad Show.

A Coach or a Manager does not make a Difference to the Performance of the Professional Players On the Ground. :-) What Say ?

Getting Friends To Blog and Read

One attempt I have been consciously doing over the past couple of years or maybe since a long long time is to get my Friends to Read and Write Blogs.

I am glad to announce that my Roomy is going to start his blog this week and my best friend is already hooked on to reader.google.com

Yahoo !!! But still a long way to go.

Playing the Quiz

Last week I could not pass two quiz attempts

One was at www.intelligentpeople.com a site for high IQ people and the other was the Indian version of Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain http://www.indya.com/paanchvipass/game/game.htm

Whew !!!

Am I Losing My Touch ?

IPL Semifinalists

Wow !!! The IPL has been as enthralling and interesting as the Second Season of ICL.

I felt Lahore Badshahs provided the needed impetus for ICL.

Today after seeing Rajasthan Royals win against Delhi Daredevils chasing 157 ensured their Semi Final Birth for the IPL Tournament.

The rest 3 teams I believe should make it should be Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Daredevils.

Lets see.. Its been quite often that I have been caught with my foot in the mouth. :-)

Presidentship Candidate Game Over for Hillary Clinton

The only reason i would like to have Hillary Clinton win the nomination from the Democrat Party for the presidential election is because 'Known Devil Is Better Than Unknown Friendship'

Barrack Obama has been cool enough to surge ahead of Hillary as of Now. Hats Off to him.

But In my limited knowledge this increases the chances of next president to be John McCain.
